Narrating Events in the Past Narrar Eventos en Pasado
We use the Past Simple for completed actions in the past (e.g., "I walked to the station"). We use the Past Continuous (was/were + verb-ing) for actions that were ongoing at a specific moment in the past. Often, they work together: a continuous background action is interrupted by a short past simple event.
